OSCE to conduct monitoring at Omar pass
NKOn June 17, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan at the Omar pass.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress that from the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE ChairmaninOffice Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) and Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative of the CiO Simon Tiller (Great Britain), as well as by representative of the OSCE HighLevel Planning Group (HLPG) Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Nepokritikh (Russia).
From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairmanin-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria) as well as by representative of the OSCE
HighLevel Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Tuncay Sevim (Turkey). The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in
conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
