Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday received H. H. Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwait Association for The Ideal Family, who is known for her charity work all through the world.

Sargsyan noted that he is happy to welcome in Armenia a public activist such as Sheikha Fariha, who alleviates the people’s concerns. The President stressed that the people of Kuwait and elsewhere have a deep respect toward the Sheikha, the President’s Press Office informs.

The interlocutors highlighted that the Armenian-Kuwaiti interstate relations are anchored in the deep respect and mutual trust between the two friendly peoples.

President Sargsyan expressed confidence that the Sheikha’s visit to Armenia will open a new chapter in the developing bilateral ties.

Also, the President extended his thanks to the Kuwaiti authorities and Sheikha Fariha for their constant attention and care toward the Armenian community of Kuwait.
