Catholicos Karekin II receives Sheikha of Kuwait.

His Holiness Karekin II, Surpreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received on May 13 a delegation led by Sheikha Fariha al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sahad of Kuwait, the chairwoman of Supreme Committee of Ideal Mother.
Sheikha Fariha al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sahad was accompanied by the ambassadors of the two countries.
Speaking about the ancient-long friendship between the Armenian and Arab peoples, Karekin II said the relations between thee two nations have always been warm and friendly.
The Catholicos of All Armenians stressed that the Armenian community of Kuwait has important contribution to the development of Kuwait. His Holiness Karekin II conveyed his gratitude and high appraisal to the Kuwaiti authorities for their careful attitude towards the Armenian community.
Karekin II also thanked Sheikha Fariha al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sahad for her humanitarian activities, stressing that charity is highly appreciated by all peoples regardless of their religious affiliation.
