Armenian President meets Russian PM Dmitri Medvedev in Moscow.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Russian PM Dmitri Medvedev met in Moscow on Tuesday. Medvedev said that Russia intends to develop cooperation between the two states and promised Russia’s support in settling social-economic issues, which Armenia faces, RIA Novosti reports.
“I would like to welcome you in my new office and believe that we will continue our cooperation and friendly relations will be preserved, especially when there is special alliance between our states,” Medvedev said congratulating Sargsyan for the victory of the party headed by Armenian president in the recent parliamentary elections.
Sargsyan congratulated Medvedev on his appointment as a PM and wished good luck, claiming it is the office which has a principal meaning in bilateral relations.
