If one does not bear Armenians, then I am Armenian, if one does not like Jews, then you cannot find a better Jew than me - Mikhail Saakashvili.
GeorgiaPatriotism and equal rights of all ethnic groups living in Georgia secure the state’s success, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said.
“As a rule, people who are against certain groups in Georgia are well financed from abroad,” Saakashvili said during the event held in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.
“Information is spread that Saakashvili is an Armenian, Jew or Catholic. The answer is the following, if one does not bear Azerbaijanis, then I am Azerbaijani, if one does not bear Armenians, then I am Armenian, if one does not like Jews, then you cannot find a better Jew than me.
It is my patriotism and it secures Georgia’s success, as we managed to unite all these groups,” the President concluded.
