Gayane Aroustamyan considers quite normal several opposition parties’ decision to withdraw from the ANC.
ПолитическиеJournalist Gayane Aroustamyan, who is affiliated with the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), says she is not inclined to consider the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) an opposition force.
At a news conference on Tuesday, Aroustamyan said the National Assembly’s first sessions will unveil the PAP true image.
“PAP speaks of democracy and election rigging but it has to translate its words into deeds,” she said, calling for the party to cooperate with the ANC.
Speaking of several opposition parties’ decision to withdraw from the alliance, Aroustamyan considered the fact quite natural.
“The ANC’s ranks are fuller than those of the ruling circles, so if anyone quits them that’s quite normal because they may fail to reach agree on certain issues,” she added.
