Մեծ Բրիտանիայի առաջատար համալսարանները կհրապարակեն երկրի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյին ուղղված տասը պահանջներից բաղկացած ցուցակ, որոնք վերաբերում են Եվրամիության քաղաքացիների իրավունքներին Brexit-ի կապակցությամբ: Այդ մասին հայտնել է Independent հրատարակությունը: Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել է, որ Թերեզա Մեյի կողմից ավելի վաղ արված առաջարկությունների համաձայն, Brexit-ից հետո ԵՄ-ի բոլոր քաղաքացիները, ներառյալ երեխաները, «պետք է կեցության դիմում ներկայացնեն»:

Ըստ թերթի տեղեկատվության, «Ռասսել» խմբի 24 բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատությունները, այդ թվում՝ այնպիսի համալսարաններ, ինչպիսիք են Օքսֆորդը եւ Քեմբրիջը, իրենց պահանջներում Մեյին նախազգուշացնում են, որ եթե կառավարության ընթացիկ պլանները չվերանայվեն, դա կարող է վնաս պատճառել երկրի կրթական սեկտորին: Նաեւ համալսարանները «ավելի շատ պարզություն» են պահանջում ԵՄ-ի քաղաքացիներին վերաբերող կառավարության պլանների հարցում, նշում է թերթը:

Ինչպես գրում է թերթը, համալսարանները Մեյին հորդորում են չեղարկել Brexit-ից հետո ԵՄ-ի քաղաքացիների՝ երկրում կեցության դիմում ներկայացնելու անհրաժեշտության մասին պլանը, դրա փոխարեն նրանք առաջարկում են երկրում գտնվող ԵՄ-ի քաղաքացիներին տալ Բրիտանիայում ապրելու ավտոմատ իրավունք: Նաեւ պահանջ է ներկայացվում երկրում այն մարդկանց կեցության իրավունքի չեղարկման պլանների վերանայման մասին, որոնք նրա սահմաններից մեկնում են ավելի քան երկու տարով:
