Հայաստանի հրեական համայնքը նամակ է հղել Իսրայելի Պետության նախագահ Ռեուվեն Ռիվլինին, Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենյամին Նեթանյահուին, Կնեսետի նախագահ Յարիվ Լևինին՝ կոչ անելով դադարեցնել զենքի մատակարարումն Ադրբեջանին: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Հայաստանի հրեաների համայնքի նախագահ Ռիմա Վարժապետյանը համայնքի անունից իր նամակում ցավով նշել է, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում զինված հակամարտության թեժ պահին Իսրայելը շարունակում է Ադրբեջանին մատակարարել նորագույն տեսակի զենքեր.

Վարժապետյանը հիշեցրել է, որ սեպտեմբերի 27-ից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը և Հայաստանը ենթարկվում են կոշտ ագրեսիայի Ադրբեջանի կողմից` Թուրքիայի ակտիվ աջակցությամբ և անմիջական մասնակցությամբ, որը մատակարարում է Ադրբեջանին զենք և ռազմական տեխնիկա, ինչպես նաև հայերի դեմ պատերազմելու համար Սիրիայից հավաքագրում և ուղարկում է  ջիհադականների:

Հայաստանի հրեաների համայնքի նախագահը նշում է, որ Իսրայելի կողմից մատակարարվող զենքը այս օրերին ընկնում է արմատական իսլամիստների ձեռքը և կիրառվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի և Հայաստանի խաղաղ բնակիչների դեմ:

«Մենք հասկանում ենք Իսրայելի ռազմավարական անվտանգության հարցերը, տնտեսական փոխգործակցության հարցերը և պայմանագրային պարտավորությունների սկզբունքները, սակայն ներկա ճգնաժամային իրավիճակում, երբ զոհվում են խաղաղ բնակիչներ և երեխաներ, չի կարող լինել որևէ արդարացում և բացատրություն:

Շատ ցավալի է, որ հենց բազմաչարչար Իսրայելը, որն անդադար պայքարում է իսլամական ահաբեկչության դեմ, զենք է մատակարարում նրանց, ում կողմից կռվում են ջիհադականները: Մենք հույս ունենք, որ Իսրայելը կձեռնարկի բոլոր անհրաժեշտ միջոցները համաշխարհային մասշտաբի աղետը կանխելու համար»,- ասել է Վարժապետյանը:

Հայաստանի հրեական համայնքի անունից Վարժապետյանը կոչ է արել Իսրայելի Պետության ղեկավարությանը եւ նրա բոլոր քաղաքացիներին հանդես գալ Ադրբեջանին զենքի մատակարարման դադարեցման օգտին և աջակցել ԼՂ հակամարտության գոտում  կրակի եւ ռազմական գործողությունների դադարեցմանը:
