Հայաստանի և Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարներն իրենց վերջին հանդիպմանը փաստել ենք, որ տարածաշրջանում հաղորդակցության ուղիների ապաշրջափակման համատեքստում չկա և չի էլ կարող լինել «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» թեմա:  Այս մասին ասաց ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը՝ ԱԺ-ում կառավարության անդամների հետ հարց ու պատասխանին՝ անդրադառնալով Իրանի ԱԳ նախարար Հոսսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանի հետ ունեցած վերջին հանդիպմանը:

Միրզոյանը նշեց, որ Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարի հետ գործընկերային, ջերմ բարեկամական հարաբերություններ են ձևավորվել՝ այդ պաշտոնում իր նշանակման հենց առաջին իսկ օրվանից:  Երկու երկրների ԱԳ նախարարները հանդիպմանը քննարկել են մի շարք երկկողմ հարաբերություններին առնչվող հարցեր:

«Ուզում եմ նաև ասել, որ այս այցն ու մեր խոսակցությունը վերաբերել է ոչ միայն երկկողմ հարաբերություններին, այլև տարածաշրջանային նշանակություն է ունեցել  և շատ կոնկրետ համատեքստ:  Ես ողջունել եմ և կրկին ուզում եմ ողջունել Իրանի դիրքորոշումը՝ մեր սահմանների անձեռնմխելիության վերաբերյալ, և ընդհանրապես, այն բոլոր դրական ազդակները, որ ստանում են այս առնչությամբ»,-ասաց ԱԳ նախարարը:

ԱԳ նախարարները խոսել են նաև այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» վերաբերյալ: «Այսինքն՝ ըստ էության այդ խոսակցության բացակայության վերաբերյալ: Փաստել ենք, որ չկա այդպիսի թեմա և չի կարող լինել այդպիսի թեմա»,-ասաց նա:

Միրզոյանը ակնհայտ համարեց, որ Իրանը լուրջ տարածաշրջանային, նաև գլոբալ դերակատարում ունի:
