ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամ Ջուդի Չուն կանգնած է Արցախի ժողովրդի կողքին, որը տուժում է Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լաչինի միջանցքի անօրինական արգելափակման պատճառով։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է կոնգրեսականի գրառումը Twitter-ում։

«Ես կանգնած եմ հազարավոր մարդկանց կողքին, ովքեր տուժում են Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախը Հայաստանին կապող միակ ճանապարհի՝ Լաչինի միջանցքի անօրինական արգելափակման պատճառով»,-գրել է նա Twitter-ի իր էջում։

Կոնգրեսականը նաև նշել է, որ հպարտությամբ միացել է կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆին և իր մյուս գործընկերներին՝ նամակ հղելով ԱՄՆ նախագահին և կոչ անելով նրան գործողություններ ձեռնարկել Արցախի ժողովրդին պաշտպանելու համար։

ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆի գլխավորությամբ շուրջ երեք տասնյակ կոնգրեսականներ նամակ են հղել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենին՝ կոչ անելով վճռական քայլեր ձեռնարկել՝ ապահովելու Արցախի հայ բնակչության անվտանգությունը: Կոնգրեսականները նշել էին, որ եթե նման իրադրությունը շարունակվի, ապա անխուսափելի կդառնա մարդասիրական աղետը:
