«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանը որոշում է կայացրել Աժ նախկին պատգամավոր Լեւոն Սարգսյանի՝ Ալրաղացի Լյովիկի նկատմամբ հարուցված քրեական գործով:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում Լեւոն Սարգսյանի պաշտպան Դավիթ Հունանյանը հայտնեց, որ ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանը բավարարել է իր բողոքը եւ բեկանել առաջին ատյանի դատարանի որոշումը, որով դատարանը Լեւոն Սարգսյանին ազատազրկման էր դատապարտել 9 տարի ժամկետով եւ քրեական գործը ուղարկել առաջին ատյանի դատարան՝ նոր քննության:

Ստացվում է՝ եթե Գլխավոր դատախազությունը ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանի որոշումը չբողոքարկի, ապա Լեւոն Սարգսյանի գործով նոր քննություն է սկսվում:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության քննչական դեպարտամենտում քննված քրեական գործով ձեռք բերված բավարար ապացույցների համակցության հիման վրա՝ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր Լեւոն Սարգսյանին, ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 175-րդ հոդվածի 3-րդ մասի 1-ին եւ 2-րդ կետերով, մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել այն բանի համար, որ վերջինս իր մտերիմ Ա. Կ.-ի եւ ՀՀ ոստիկանության նախկին աշխատակից Ա. Ն.-ի միջոցով կազմակերպել է 2008թ. հոկտեմբերի 27-ին ՀՀ ԿԱ մաքսային կոմիտեի նախկին ղեկավար Արմեն Ավետիսյանի նկատմամբ հանցավոր համագործակցության կողմից առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով՝ շուրջ 45 միլիոն ՀՀ դրամ արժեքով գույքի հափշտակություն կատարելու նպատակով իրականացված ավազակային հարձակումը:

Նույն հանցագործությանը տեղեկատվություն տրամադրելու եղանակով օժանդակելու համար մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել նաեւ Լեւոն Սարգսյանի ազգական Սուրեն Ղազարյանին։ Քրեական գործի նախաքննության ընթացքում Լ. Ս.-ի նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց ընտրվել է կալանավորումը, եւ նա մինչ օրս գտնվում է ԱԱԾ-ի մեկուսարանում: Երեւան քաղաքի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանը Ալրաղացի Լյովիկին դատապարտել էր ազատազրկման՝ 9 տարի ժամկետով, իսկ նրա ազգական Սուրեն Ղազարյանին՝ 8 տարվա ազատազրկման:

Լեւոն Սարգսյանը դատարանի այս որոշումը բողոքարկել է ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարան, որտեղ էլ կայացվել է որոշում, եւ բեկանել են առաջին ատյանի դատարանի այս որոշումը. գործի քննությունը սկսել են նորից: Այս ընթացքում Լեւոն Սարգսյանը կմնա կալանքի տակ»:
