«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Որոշ ժամանակ առաջ տեղեկություններ տարածվեցին, որ հայ համայնքի հետ կազմակերպված հանդիպման ժամանակ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը հայտարարել է, թե ինքը ավելի շատ ճնշում է բանեցրել Իլհամ Ալիևի նկատմամբ, քան Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը: Այս տեղեկությունը պաշտոնապես չհաստատվեց, բայց և չհերքվեց: Միայն իշխանական քարոզչամիջոցներն էին գտել այդ հանդիպման մասնակից ինչ-որ երիտասարդի, որը հայտարարել էր, թե Մակրոնը նման բան չի ասել: Հետո, անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների հարցին, Մակրոնն ինքն էր նշել, թե հիմա դրա «ժամանակը չէ»:

Ինչպես երևում է, նման կարծիքի են նաև Հայաստանի իշխանությունները: Բացի այն, որ ինչպես բազմաթիվ փորձագետներ են նշում, Հայաստանը բավարար աշխատանքներ չի տանում՝ հասնելու միջազգային հանրության կողմից Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ որոշակի սանկցիաներ կիրառելուն՝ վերջին կատարած ցեղասպան գործողությունների և այլ հանցագործությունների համար, տարբեր երկրների ներկայացուցիչներ սկսել են մատնացույց անել հենց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, որ նա չի ցանկանում հասնել պատժամիջոցների:

Ի մասնավորի, Հայաստանում Կանադայի առաջին ռեզիդենտ դեսպան Էնդրյու Թերները Կանադայի խորհրդարանի արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային զարգացման հանձնաժողովի կազմակերպած «Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև սահմանների անվտանգություն» քննարկման ժամանակ, պատասխանելով Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ սանկցիաներ կիրառելու հնարավորության մասին հարցին, ասել է, որ հենց Հայաստանում է վիճելի հարցը, թե այդ թեմայով քննարկումներ ծավալելու «համապատասխան ժամանակ» կլինի՞, թե՞ ոչ:

Սա բավական թափանցիկ ակնարկ է, և Հայաստանի իշխանությունները երևի թե պարտավոր են հստակ պատասխպանել՝ արդյո՞ք իրենք «վիճելի» են համարում Արդբեջանի դեմ սանկցիաների կիրառման անհրաժեշտության հարցը, և արդյո՞ք հիմա դա «ժամանակավրեպ» են համարում:
