ВМС Индии разместят корабли в Аравийском море после атаки на торговое судно

Военно-морские силы Индии разместят в Аравийском море три военных корабля после атаки беспилотника на торговое судно, сообщил представитель ВМС.

«Учитывая недавнюю волну нападений в Аравийском море, ВМС Индии развернули эсминцы с управляемыми ракетами Mormugao, Kochi и Kolkata в различных районах для поддержания сдерживания», - сказал чиновник.

Он отметил, что в операции будут принимать участие самолеты морской разведки дальнего радиуса действия P8I.

«Центр морских операций Западного военно-морского командования активно отслеживает ситуацию в тесной координации с береговой охраной и всеми заинтересованными ведомствами», - добавил представитель ВМС.

В минувшие выходные управление морских торговых операций Великобритании сообщило, что удар беспилотника повредил торговое судно у берегов Индии, пострадавших в результате инцидента нет. Удару подверглось перевозящее сырую нефть судно Chem Pluto, в состав его экипажа входят 20 индийцев. Впоследствии Пентагон заявили, что атаковавший судно беспилотный летательный аппарат был запущен из Ирана.
