Չեխիայի կողմից ԱՄՆ-ից հինգերորդ սերնդի F-35A Lightning II կործանիչների գնման մասին պայմանագիրը կստորագրվի մինչև մարտի վերջ, կիրակի օրը հայտարարել է հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարարության ղեկավար Յանա Չեռնոխովան` CNN Prima NEWS-ի եթերում։

«Սա անպայման կստորագրվի մինչև մարտի վերջ, ես կասեի նույնիսկ ավելի վաղ: Մենք այժմ փնտրում ենք համապատասխան ձև և հարմար ամսաթիվ», -ասել է Չեռնոխովան։

CNN Prima NEWS-ի հաղորդման համաձայն, 105,8 միլիարդ կրոն (մոտ 4,6 միլիարդ դոլար) կվճարվի ԱՄՆ կառավարությանը հինգերորդ սերնդի F-35A Lightning II կործանիչների և այս գնմանը ուղեկցող ծառայությունների համար: Լրացուցիչ ծախսերը` ներառյալ նոր օդանավակայանի կառուցումը, կկազմեն 43,8 միլիարդ կրոն (մոտ 1,9 միլիարդ դոլար):

Չեխիայի կողմից այդ ինքնաթիռների գնման և օգտագործման ընդհանուր ծախսերը մինչև 2069 թվականը կկազմեն 322 միլիարդ կրոն (մոտ 14,1 միլիարդ դոլար): Կործանիչի մեկ ժամ թռիչքը կարժենա ավելի քան 800 հազար կրոն (մոտ 35 հազար դոլար)։

Չեխիայի կառավարությունը հավանություն է տվել ԱՄՆ-ից 24 F-35 Lightning II կործանիչների գնմանը 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերին։
