Ազգային ժողովի Հայաստան-Ճապոնիա բարեկամական խմբի անդամներն ապրիլի 1-ին հանդիպել են ՀՀ-ում Ճապոնիայի արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Աոկի Յուտակայի հետ:

Ողջունելով նորանշանակ դեսպանին խորհրդարանում` Հայաստան-Ճապոնիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Բաբկեն Թունյանը շնորհավորել է Աոկի Յուտակային պատասխանատու պաշտոնում նշանակվելու կապակցությամբ:

Պատգամավորը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել մինչ օրս ամենատարբեր ուղղություններով Ճապոնիայի կողմից Հայաստանին ցուցաբերված աջակցության համար: «Խոսքը վերաբերում է ոչ միայն ֆինանսական, սոցիալական, տեխնիկական աջակցությանը, այլ նաեւ արտաքին քաղաքականության բնագավառում Ճապոնիայի որդեգրած հավասարակշիռ դիրքորոշմանը»,- նշել է Բաբկեն Թունյանը:

Բարեկամական խմբի անդամները, խոսելով տարածաշրջանում տիրող իրավիճակի մասին, ընդգծել են, որ այն շարունակում է մնալ լարված եւ խոցելի: Նշվել է, որ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է գերի պահել մեր հայրենակիցներին, ՀՀ ինքնիշխան տարածքի զգալի մասը գտնվում է Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության ներքո, չի դադարում Ադրբեջանի ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությունը: Ընդգծելով տարածաշրջանում երկարատեւ խաղաղություն հաստատելու անհրաժեշտությունը` բարեկամական խմբի անդամները նշել են, որ այդ նպատակին հասնելու համար կարեւոր է գործընկեր երկրների աջակցությունը, ինչպես նաեւ թիրախային հայտարարությունները եւ քայլերը` զսպելու Ադրբեջանի հնարավոր ագրեսիայի հավակնությունները:

Պատգամավորները բարձր են գնահատել ԼՂ-ից բռնի տեղահանված ավելի քան 100 հազար հայրենակիցներին Ճապոնիայի ցուցաբերած աջակցությունը:

Քննարկվել են մի շարք ոլորտներում երկկողմ գործակցության զարգացման հնարավորությունները: Կողմերը համաձայնել են, որ տնտեսական համագործակցության հարցում առկա է չիրացված ներուժ:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար` դեսպանը նշել է, որ Ճապոնիան ուշադրությամբ հետեւում է Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացներին, հայ-ադրբեջանական բանակցություններին: Աոկի Յուտակայի խոսքով Ճապոնիան բարձր է գնահատում տարածաշրջանում խաղաղություն հաստատելու Հայաստանի ջանքերը եւ պատրաստ է աջակցել դրանց:

Կողմերը միակարծիք են եղել, որ թե' Ճապոնիան եւ թե' Հայաստանը կիսում են ընդհանուր արժեքներ` ժողովրդավարություն, մարդու իրավունքներ եւ օրենքի գերակայություն:
