Ջրատարի վթարը կրկնվեց գրեթե նույն վայրում՝ Հրազդան կիրճի հատվածում, բարեբախտաբար, «Վեոլիա ջուր»-ը կարողացել էր փականը ճիշտ ժամանակին անջատել, որ ջրի վարակի դեպք չգրանցվեր Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանում: Այս մասին այսօր՝ հուլիսի 1-ին, Երեւանի քաղաքապետարանի հերթական գործակարգավարական խորհրդակցության ժամանակ նշեց Երևանի քաղաքապետի խորհրդական Կամո Արեյանը՝ անդրադառնալով «Արզնի 2» ջրատարի վթարին:

«Ձեռնարկվեցին անհետաձգելի բոլոր աշխատանքները, և հաջորդ օրվա երեկոյան՝ արդեն 23։00-ին, միացվեց ջրամատակարարումը ամբողջ համակարգում։

Մենք եղել ենք տեղում, նոր-նոր սկսել են կիրճի այդ հատվածի գետի հունի մաքրման աշխատանքները, եթե այդ աշխատանքները չարվեն, ոչ մի երաշխիք չկա, որ պարբերաբար վթարները չեն կրկնվի: Անթույլատրելի է խողովակը թողնել գետի հոսող ջրի մեջ»,-ասաց նա:

Արեյանը հույս հայտնեց, որ կարճ ժամանակում փլուզված հատվածը դուրս կբերվի, գետի հունը կփոխվի, կմաքրվի։

Ավելի վաղ հայտնել էինք, որ «Արզնի-2» ջրատարի վրա տեղի ունեցած վթարի վերացման աշխատանքներով պայմանավորված՝ հունիսի 27-ին՝ ժամը 18:30-ից մինչև հունիսի 28-ը՝ ժամը 23:00-ն, դադարեցվել է Երևանի Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանի մի շարք հասցեների ջրամատակարարումը։
