The first Armenian novel about trafficking

The author felt the urge to write a book after meeting with an Armenian minor, a victim of sex trafficking in Dubai. "It was not easy to find out the details of her story", he said, but when I was able to do it, I was gripped by terror of her experience." So he spent the next eighteen months on research to expose the dark underworld of sex trafficking. Zanoyan talked with dozens of girls visiting the cities in Armenia, spoke with officials in many countries, met with representatives of the organizations to combat human trafficking. In the end, he decided to write a novel based largely on real events.
