Armenia's National Football Team climbs to 33rd position in FIFA rankingSport
The National Football Team of Armenia appeared in the 33rd place of the FIFA updated ranking list, thus improving its positions by 8 horizontals. As reports “Armenpress” citing the FIFA official website, the Spanish National Football Team again tops the list.
Europe occupies the top three places on the ranking after Portugal climbed third behind leaders Spain and Germany. They are followed by four South American sides in Colombia (4th, up 1), Uruguay (5th, up 1) and fierce rivals Argentina (down 3) and Brazil (up 3), who share sixth position. Just 12 points separate this quartet.
Greece returned to the top ten for the first time since October 2012, while Scotland (22nd, up 15) are the only team to have climbed over ten places. Denmark is the 23rd; Serbia took the 30th horizontal, while Albania occupied the 70th place. The Armenian National Squad’s former 30th ranking was record-breaking for Armenia.
