Two Armenians wounded in Damascus
Middle EastIn Baghdad street of Azazin district of Damascus, on May 29, in the result of a missile fall two Armenians were injured. As "Armenpress" was informed from the Editorial Office of "Azdak" daily, the wounded were father and daughter Ruben and Maro Danielyans – Armenians living in Damascus, who received average degree of injuries. After appropriate treatment, their condition is now stable.
The clashes continue in the eastern suburbs of Damascus. Although in the central districts of the city the situation is calm, some incidents are being registered due to mortar blows, which cause human and material damage. Earlier, information was received that in the Armenian Nor Gyugh district of Aleppo in the result of the fall of missiles 22 people were killed and another 75 were wounded. Among them there were no Armenians. According to the UN data, in the course of the three-year conflict in Syria, the death toll has exceeded 150 thousand. The number of the Armenians killed has reached 100.
