The Armenian National Committee of America called on the President of the United States of America Barack Obama to work
toward the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh issue.

“This July 4th, the President Barack Obama should honor his promise to work toward a Nagorno Karabakh settlement “based
upon America's founding commitment to the principles of democracy and self-determination”,-says the official Facebook profile of the Armenian National Committee of America, Armenpress reports.

In 1870 the US Congress declared July 4 to be a state holiday.
