Tovmasyan family fleeing IS attacks in Kobanî settles in Silikyan district
Society17 members of the Tovmasyan family who fled from Kobanî, Syria IS attacks and came to Armenia with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia on September 2, settled in their homeland. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned,
referring to the Department of Media and Public relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the assignment of Republic of Armenia Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, the staff of corresponding departments of the Ministry had discussed the options of family’s rehousing in Armenia, issues of providing them with shelter and necessary aid with interested institutions (The UN's refugee agency, Armenian Red Cross Society, Mission Armenia NGO, “ALEPPO” Compatriotic Charitable Organization, Armenian branch of “Oxfam”).
The Tovmasyan family settled in Silikyan district, Yerevan in a comfortable Lodging.
The Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia in cooperation with other institutions intends to solve housing issue of the Tovmasyan family consisting of 17 members.
