О месте, где будет нести наказание обвиняемый в расстреле членов семьи Аветисянов из семи человек в Гюмри, русский
военнослужащий Валерий Пермяков, можно будет заговорить лишь после того, как решение суда вступит в законную силу. Об этом в разговоре с «Арменпресс» сообщил Генпрокурор Армении Геворг Костанян, комментируя слухи о том, что
Генпрокуратуры России и Армении уже якобы пришли к соглашению о том, что после завершения судебного процесса Пермяков будет нести наказание в одном из уголовно­исполнительных управлений Армении.

«Я неоднократно заявлял, что после завершения судебного процесса мы будем иметь дело уже со статусом осужденного, который является гражданином другой страны. И лишь после вступления приговора в законную силу мы сможем начать обсуждение его передачи властям Армении, и о месте, где он будет нести свое наказание. Это связано со многими конвенционными вопросами», - отметил Костанян.

На вопрос, сколько же времени займет процесс на армянской стороне, Костанян ответил, что все зависит от процесса следствия, и он не может назвать какой­либо временный промежуток. Может, это состоится в этом году, а может и нет.
