Armenian serviceman wounded as border tensions continue

The increasing tension along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border saw a Armenian contract servicemen wounded on the night of April 5.
Zori G Ashrafyan, 33, received fragmentary injuries after Azerbaijan’s armed forces opened fire from 60mm and 82mm mine launchers in the north-eastern direction of the border. The adversary targeted the villages Berdavan and Koti (Tavush region).
Demonstrating restraint, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia continued their defense operations, keeping the situation under control.
