Armenia doesn’t have the non-Soviet and non-Repressed Parliamentary Opposition Anymore: Tevan Poghosyan
АрменияAfter May 6 one of the novelties in the formed parliament is that Armenia doesn’t have the non-Soviet non-pressed parliamentary opposition anymore. Yesterday this was said to the journalists by Tevan Poghosyan, Executive Director of the International Center of Human Development. According to him, almost all the opposition is in parliament. “Indeed, it would be better that many were represented. The future will show how the new parliament opposition will also use the non-parliamentary forum for discussions,” said Poghosyan.
In his opinion, a new parliament is formed, where there are more people able to speak, express interesting ideas and meaningfully debate.
He also spoke about the possible PAP-ANC collaboration by saying that there are certain common edges but only the time will show how they are going to vote on vital legislative imitatives and economic bills.
