I must Fight against the Same Regime in Ijevan
ԲլոգոսֆերաTsovinar Nazarian, referring to her brother’s, Artak Nazaryan’s murder, and to the trials of ANC activists. Writes:
"This morning, as every Tuesday (and Wednesday), we set off again, with my mother, to Ijevan, to stand alone, once again, before the blunt wall of injustice.
Of course, our lawyers a few relatives will be with us, and two local journalists will join us in Ijevan.
After moving our sessions from Yerevan to Ijevan, in January, they haven’t been crowded neither with media, nor with civil society, with which the judge and the military prosecution reached their goal of taking the trial towards the qualifying it as criminal investigation with violent methods.
Unfortunately, holding the trial in Yerevan does not help either when there is a political order as is in the case of my brother.
Thus, neglecting the law and the right, in the center of Yerevan, four bright and rebellious young people, were sentenced to 2-6 years of imprisonment. And if until this day it was only their trial was the trial of their team, all of a sudden, people realized that the strike was on them together with the boys fighting against the Nemets-Fascist regime. That political maturity took time, and it finally occurred.
Tomorrow I will not be able to be in Yervan, because I have to fight against the same regime in Ijevan, but I feel safe, thinking that various representatives of society possessing contradictory civic views, lawyers and civic activists will be gathered in front of the Prosecutor’s Office… Our battle is one- everyone’s victory is going to be the others’.
We don’t have the right to rebound. Don’t say it’s far, don’t say I’m busy.
This is not Ijevan. This is Yerevan.
Everyone must collectively go to the Prosecutor's Office at 5 pm, to express our protest and to be consistent in LIBERATING US AND THE BOYS- Tigran, David, Sargis and Artak.
It is the first of OUR way to liberation. Finally it is realized.
No laziness. No rebound.”
