Երեկ Կապանի ոստիկանության առջև բողոքի ակցիա իրականացնողները պահանջում էին ազատ արձակել գիշերը բերման ենթարկված, ապա նաև ձերբակալված նրանց հարազատներին։ Նրանք ժամեր տևած ակցիայի ընթացքում նաև պահանջեցին, որ իրենց մոտ գնա Սյունիքի մարզպետն ու պարզաբանում տա իրենց հասած տեղեկությունների վերաբերյալ։ Քաղաքացիները բազմիցս հնչեցրին նաև Սյունիքի փոխմարզպետ Նարեկ Բաբայանի անունը՝ նրան մեղադրելով տեղի ունեցած ծեծկռտուքի և դրան հաջորդած իրադարձությունները կազմակերպելու մեջ: 

ԼՈՒՐԵՐ.com-ի թղթակցի հարցին, թե ինչու են հենց իրեն մեղադրում տեղի ունեցածի մեջ, Բաբայանը պատասխանեց, որ իրավապահները կտան պատշաճ գնահատականներ:

«Գործի մանրամասները հրապարակվել են, և պարզ է, որ ես տեղի ունեցածի հետ որևէ կապ չունեմ: Այնուամենայնիվ, իրավապահները կտան պատշաճ գնահատականներ»,- ասաց Բաբայանը:

Մեջբերեցինք ցուցարարների պնդումները, նաև պահանջը, որ Բաբայանը պետք է հրաժարական տա: Փոխմարզպետը նորից պնդեց, որ գործի հետ կապ չունի. «Հրաժարական տալ չեմ պատրաստվում»:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Կապանում մայիսի 24-ին լարված իրավիճակ էր ստեղծվել։ Ոստիկանության շենքի դիմաց հավաքվել էին բազմաթիվ քաջարանցիներ, որոնք պահանջում են Երևան չտեղափոխել և ազատ արձակել ոստիկանություն բերման ենթարկված, ապա ձերբակալված իրենց համաքաղաքացիներին։ Ըստ շենքի առջև հավաքված հարազատների տեղեկությունների՝ ձերբակալվածներին ոստիկանությունում ծեծի են ենթարկել։ Ոստիկանությունը հերքում է բռնություն գործադրելու մասին տեղեկությունները։ Նշենք, որ բերման ենթարկվածները երեքն էին, մի հոգու՝ Նվեր Խաչատրյանին, սխալմամբ են բերման ենթարկել, ապա ազատ արձակել։ Նրա մարմնի վրա բռնության հետքեր կան։ Հավաքվածները պահանջում էին, որ կալանավորվածներին չտեղափոխեն մայրաքաղաք, և քննությունն իրականացվի Սյունիքում, քանի որ մտավախություն ունեն, որ այնտեղ ավելի դաժան ծեծի կենթարկեն։ Նրանք սպառնում էին, որ հակառակ դեպքում ճանապարհ կփակեն, կդիմեն ծայրահեղ քայլերի։ Քաջարանի քաղաքապետ Մանվել Փարամազյանը հայտարարել էր, որ իր նկատմամբ քաղաքական ճնշումներ են, օրեր առաջ ոստիկանությունը խուզարկություններ է իրականացրել իր և մերձավորների բնակարաններում, դրան հաջորդել են քաջարանցիների անհիմն ձերբակալությունները՝ բռնության կիրառմամբ:
