Կիպրոսի հայտնի «օֆշորային գործով» անցնող գործարար Աշոտ Սուքիասյանը, ում մեկ այլ գործարար Փայլակ Հայրապետյանը մեղադրում է իր կարողությունը հափշտակելու մեջ, 24TV-ի հետ բացառիկ հարցազրույցում սկանդալային բացահայտումներ է արել՝ պնդելով, որ Հայրապետյանը պատվիրել է իր սպանությունը՝ Աֆրիկայում ունեցած համատեղ հանքային բիզնեսին տիրանալու համար։ «Այո՛, ես զրուցել եմ մարդկանց հետ, որոնք խոստովանել են, որ Հայրապետյանն իրենց պատվիրել է իմ ֆիզիկական ոչնչացումը», - նշել է նա։ Ըստ Սուքիասյանի, Փայլակ Հայրապետյանը 2009 թ-ին ինքն է առաջարկել մասնակցել Աֆրիկայի Սիեռա Լիոնե երկրում ձեռնարկած հանքարդյունաբերական բիզնեսին՝ ցանկանալով իբրև իր մասնակցություն գրավադրել իր անշարժ գույքը։ «Ընդ որում, ես գրեթե 870.000 դոլար եմ ծախսել Փայլակ Հայրապետյանի գույքը իրավական տեսքի բերելու համար՝ մեծամասամբ վարձակալած գույքեր էին, որոնք ենթակա չէին գրավադրման։ Դրանց մեջ կային նաև կիսաքանդ, չօգտագործվող շինություններ»,- հավելել է Սուքիասյանը։ Ըստ գործարարի, բարդություններն առաջացել են «Ամերիա» բանկից ստացված վարկից հետո։ Նրա խոսքերով, հենց Աֆրիկայում ձեռնարկված բիզնեսի համար նախատեսված վարկային միջոցները ստացվել են, Հայրապետյանը սկսել է պնդել, որպեսզի այդ գումարներն իրեն փոխանցվի, իսկ գույքը մնա բանկին։ «Նա ստիպում էր ինձ քցել բանկին, երբ չհամաձայնվեցի, նա մեկնեց Աֆրիկա և սկսեց իմ գործընկերների հետ առանձին պայմանավորվել, որ ինձ կամ անազատության միջոցով մեկուսացնի, կամ էլ ֆիզիկապես վերացնի», - նշել  է նա։ Սուքիասյանը նաև պնդում է, որ միայն այս գործընթացից հետո նա Կիպրոսում իր ընկերության սեփականատերերի ցանկում՝ առանց վերջիններիս գիտության, ներառել է ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ Տիգրան Սարգսյանի և Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմի առաջնորդական փոխանորդ Նավասարդ Կճոյանի անունները՝ իր ֆիզիկական անվտանգությունը պաշտպանելու համար։ «Կիպրոսի իմ փաստաբանը խորհուրդ տվեց ներառել հայտնի մարդկանց ընկերության մեջ, որպեսզի ես կարողանամ ինքս ինձ պաշտպանել։ Տիգրան Սարգսյանն ու սրբազանը տեղյակ չէին, ես ուղղակի հետդարձի ճանապարհ չունեի»,- խոստովանել է գործարարը։ Ըստ նրա, Կիպրոսում հնարավոր է ցանկացած մարդու անունով ընկերություն բացել, և նմանատիպ բազմաթիվ օրինակներ կան։ «Ես քննիչին էլ եմ ասել՝ տվեք ինձ անձնագրի կրկնօրինակ, ես ձեր անունով էլ կբացեմ ընկերություն Կիպրոսում։ Այդտեղ դա հնարավոր է», - ընդգծել է Սուքիասյանը։
