Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանը հրապարակել է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և մյուսների գործով խորհրդատվական կարծիքը: ՄԻԵԴ-ը հստակ վերահաստատել է հետադարձ ուժի արգելքի և օրենքի որոշակիության ստանդարտները: Ակնհայտ է դառնում, որ ինչպես գործի սկզբից պնդում էին փաստաբաններն ու անկախ փորձագետները` ընթացող գործով չի կարող կիրառվել 300.1-րդ հոդվածը, որն իրադարձությունների պահին գոյություն չի ունեցել: 


Կարծիքի հրապարակմանը գրեթե զուգահեռ տեղեկություն տարածվեց, որ մինչև համավարակի ավարտը Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը կմնա Իզմիրլյան ԲԿ-ում: Հիշեցնենք, ընդամենը շաբաթներ առաջ դատարանը Քոչարյանին ԲԿ տեղափոխելու որևէ հիմք և կորոնավիրուսի համաճարակի հետ կապված որևէ խնդիր չէր տեսնում և հասկանալի է, որ փակ նիստի ընթացքում շատ արագ նման որոշման ընդունումը պարզապես հնարավոր չէր լինի առանց վերևների դաբռոյի:  

Փաշինյանը քաջ գիտակցում է որ միջազգային կառույցներն անարձագանք չեն թողնելու երկրորդ նախագահի և մյուսների գործը, հատկապես, որ մի շարք դիմումներ են կուտակվել նույն ՄԻԵԴ-ում, որոնց շուրջ որոշումները սպասվում են առաջիկայում, ասել է թե՝ Փաշինյանին և իր թիմին նոր փորձություններ են սպասվում: Դա է պատճառը, որ Փաշինյանn այս անգամ որոշեց հետ քայլ անել: Դրանով, մի կողմից մեսիջ է անում միջազգային կառույցներին, մյուս կողմից՝ մեսիջ է անում ռուսական կողմին` հաշվի առնելով հայտնի պահանջները, որ ռուսական կողմը առաջ էր քաշում ՝ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններում առկա կնճիռները հարթելու համար…
