Իրանում վերջին մեկ օրում հայտնաբերվել է կորոնավիրուսային վարակի մոտ 2 հազար նոր դեպք։ Ըստ Առողջապահության նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Քիանուշ Ջահանպուրի՝ երկրում անցած օրվա ընթացքում հայտնաբերվել է վարակի 2043 նոր դեպք։ Մահացել է 70 մարդ: Այսպիսով՝ վարակվածների ընդհանուր թիվը փետրվարի 19-ից, երբ իշխանությունները հաղորդել էին կորոնավիրուսի առաջին դեպքերի մասին, հասել է 173 832-ի, իսկ ընդհանուր առմամբ մահացել է 8 351 մարդ: Միևնույն ժամանակ, ըստ Ջահանպուրի, վերականգնվել է 136 360 մարդ: Հունիսի առաջին շաբաթվա ընթացքում կորոնավիրուսային վարակի հայտնաբերված ամենօրյա դեպքերի թիվը առաջին անգամ գերազանցել են 3 հազարը՝ կազմելով 3 574 դեպք: Այնուամենայնիվ, վերջին չորս օրվա ընթացքում Իրանում գրանցվել է դեպքերի թվի անկում:
Իրանի նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին ասել է, որ ներկայիս պայմաններում Իրանը չի կարող թույլ տալ դադարեցնել տնտեսական գործունեությունը։ Խանութները և գործարանները պետք է աշխատեն, և մարդիկ պետք է սովորեն, թե ինչպես կարելի է ապրել կորոնավիրուսի հետ, քանի որ հայտնի չէ, թե երբ է ավարտվելու համաճարակը, և երբ է լինելու համապատասխան պատվաստանյութ:
