«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «ՍԴ դատավորի աղմկահարույց թեկնածու Վահրամ Ավետիսյանի եւ «Իմ քայլի» նախօրեի հանդիպումն անցել է «մարտեր՝ առանց կանոնների» ձեւաչափով։ Բոլոր պատգամավորները հարցեր են ուղղել թեկնածուին, որոնք վերաբերել են ՍԴ-ում հասունացած ճգնաժամի վերաբերյալ պատկերացումներին ու լուծումներին, անցյալում ընտրությունները կեղծված լինելուն, հոր՝ վճռաբեկի քրեական պալատի նախկին նախագահի գործունեությանը, Մարտի 1-ի գործով նրա մասնակցությանը եւ այլնին։Սակ այն ՀԱԿ-ական թեւի պատգամավորները ոչ միայն հարցեր են տվել, այլեւ բառի բուն իմաստով միտինգ արել Ավետիսյանի դեմ՝ հասկացնելով, որ առնվազն բարոյական տեսանկյունից խնդիր է ՍԴ-ում իր հայտնվելը։ 

Հիշեցնենք, որ թեկնածուի հոր ձեռքի տակով են անցել մարտիմեկյան դատավճիռները՝ բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալների, այդ թվում՝ վարչապետ Փաշինյանի վերաբերյալ։ Այդ թեւի պատգամավորներից մեկը թեկնածուից հետաքրքրվել է Զովունիում գտնվող նրանց շքեղ առանձնատան մասին եւ նկատել՝ եթե այլ ճանապարհով գումար չեն աշխատել, ինչպե՞ս են դատավորի աշխատավարձով նման վիլլա կառուցել։ Ասել է նաեւ, որ, ըստ օդում կախված լուրերի, թեկնածուի ընտանիքն ունի բիզնեսներ, մասնավորապես երկու խաղատան սեփականատեր են։

Վերջում նկատել են, որ առնվազն բարոյական չէ իրենցից՝ խորհրդարանում համեստ աշխատավարձ ստացող պատգամավորներից պահանջել, որ ընտրեն օլիգարխ թեկնածուի։ Մեզ պատմեցին նաեւ, որ ընդհանրապես պետաիրավականի ողջ կազմը սվիններով է ընդունել թեկնածուին, քանի որ կարծում են, որ կառավարությունն առնվազն պետք է խորհրդակցեր օրենսդիր մարմնի իրավաբանների հետ»:
