«Հրապարակ» օրաթերթը գրում է․ «Մեր տեղեկություններով՝ Արգիշտի Քյարամյանի հրահանգով ԱԱԾ-ի, այսպես կոչված, ռուսական կադրերի նկատմամբ տեռոր է սկսվել։ Այն ծառայակիցներն, ովքեր ուսանել են Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայությունում (ФСБ) եւ կասկածներ կան, որ այդ կառույցի հետ կապերը պահպանել են, հայտնվել են երիտասարդ տնօրենի թիրախում։ ԱԱԾ մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, Քյարամյանը հանձնարարել է ոմանց նկատմամբ ծառայողական քննություն սկսել, մյուսներին ուղղակի հեռացնել՝ ինչ ճանապարհով ուզում է լինի, համակարգը «մաքրել ռուսական «շպիոններից»»։

Քյարամյանի նշանակման առաջին օրերին նրան ճանաչողներն ասում էին, որ շուտով հակառուսական քայլեր է նա իրականացնելու, քանի որ հայտնի է իր ռուսատյացությամբ։ Եւ որպես օրինակ բերում էին Հայաստանում գործող Հարավկովկասյան երկաթուղու դեմ պետական հարձակումները 2018-ին, որոնք իրականացվել են հենց Քյարամյանի ձեռքով։ Այն ժամանակ նա Պետական վերահսկողության ծառայությունում էր»։
