ՍԴ դատավորի թեկնածու Վահրամ Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

«Մեկ անգամ ևս ցանկանում եմ նշել, որ մեր պետության գերխնդիրներից է անկախ, հաշվետու, կանխատեսելի արդարադատություն իրականացնող, հասարակության մեջ հեղինակություն վայելող և պրոֆեսիոնալ դատավորներով համալրված դատական իշխանության կայացումը:
Խնդիր, առանց որի լուծման պետությունը և հասարակությունը զարգացման որևէ հեռանկար չունեն: Այդ խնդիրների լուծման գործում ներդրում ունենալու ցանկությամբ է պայմանավորված եղել իմ կողմից Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի թեկնածու առաջադրվելու առաջարկը ընդունելը։

Սակայն «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության պատգամավորների հետ հանդիպումից և հետագա քննարկումներից ինձ համար ակնհայտ դարձավ, որ պատգամավորների մի մասի՝ Սահմանադրական դատարանի դերակատարության, Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի ապաքաղաքականացվածության և անկախության վերաբերյալ մոտեցումներն ու պատկերացումներն իմ մոտեցումներին և պատկերացումներին համահունչ չեն, իսկ որոշ դեպքերում նաև ինձ համար անընդունելի։

Հետևաբար, նման իրավիճակում Ազգային ժողովում 80 ձայն ստանալը համարում եմ անիրատեսական, իսկ Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի պաշտոնում ընտրվելու հետագա գործընթացին մասնակցելը՝ աննպատակահարմար։

Ուստի այսօր Ազգային ժողովի նախագահին եմ ներկայացրել «Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի պաշտոնում ընտրվելու մասին» համաձայնությունս հետ կանչելու մասին դիմում։

Միաժամանակ շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնում Կառավարությանը իմ թեկնածությունը Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի պաշտոնում առաջադրելու համար, իսկ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում իրականացվող դատաիրավական բարեփոխումներին մաղթում բարեհաջող ընթացք՝ ի շահ ՀՀ քաղաքացու և մեր Հայրենիքի»։
