«Ի պատասխան Ալիևի և ադրբեջանական քարոզչության վերջին մեղադրանքներին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր հայտարարել է.
«Վերջին շրջանում, եթե ուշադրություն եք դարձրել, ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները, իշխանական շրջանակները, Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունը նոր կոմպոնենտ է մտցրել քարոզչական արշավի մեջ, այսպես ասած՝ կոնֆիդենցիալ ինֆորմացիաների բացահայտում: Ես ադրբեջանցի գործընկերներին խորհուրդ եմ տալիս չգնալ այդ ճանապարհով, որովհետև եթե մտանք այդ դաշտ, սկսեցինք կոնֆիդենցիալ ինֆորմացիաներ տարածել, վախենամ՝ դրանից Ադրբեջանի ներքաղաքական վիճակը հուսահատորեն ապակայունանա»:
Նա փաստորեն ոչ թե հերքում է ադրբեջանցիների կողմից վերջերս բացահայտվող տեղեկությունները իր և Ալիևի ստվերային գործարքների մասին, այլ հաստատում է այն, միաժամանակ վախեցնելով Ալիևին սեփական կոմպրոմատով:

Ցանկացած նորմալ քաղաքական համակարգի դեպքում այսքանից հետո վարչապետը պիտի հրաժարական տար , իսկ ԱԱԾ-ն՝ լրջագույն կերպով զբաղվեր այս խնդիրներով:
Այս ամենի հաշիվը դեռ բաց է, բայց հատուցման ժամը հեռու չէ»:
