Արցախում չորրորդ օրն է` դաժան մարտեր են ընթանում, ողջ հայության ուշադրության կենտրոնում Արցախն է և արցախա-ադրբեջանական սահմանը: Պատերազմի սկսելուց ի վեր Արցախում հավաքվեցին այսպես կոչված` հին Հայաստանի իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները՝ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը, Կարեն Կարապետյանը, Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը, Բակո Սահակյանը, ինչպես նաև մեր փառապանծ գեներալները՝ Սեյրան Օհանյանը, Վիտալի Բալասանյանը, Յուրի Խաչատուրովը, Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանը,Արշավիր Ղարամյանը, Սամվել Կարապետյանը:

Անգամ ավելորդ է նշել, թե որքան հակասություններ կան այս մարդկանց միջև, որքան խորն ու բազմաշերտ են այդ հակասությունները թե՛ միմյանց հետ, թե՛ Հայաստանի նոր իշխանությունների հետ, սակայն պետական շահը այս դեպքում ամենից բարձր է գտնվել, և նրանք միավորվել են՝ հանուն հայրենիքի այս դժվարին պահին` կանգնելով Արցախի և Հայաստանի իշխանությունների կողքին: Գիտենք, որ օրինակ Վիտալի Բալասանյանը ընտրություններում Արայիկ Հարությունյանի հիմնական հակառակորդն էր, և նրանց կողմնակիցների միջև անգամ բախումներ տեղի ունեցան: Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը առաջինն էր, ով քննադատեց Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի նոու-հաուն՝ նոր սահմանադրությունը և այն ընդունելուն ուղղված հանրաքվեն, նա հրապարակային բազմիցս արտահայտեց իր անհամաձայնությունը դրա հետ: Սակայն, այսօր թե՛ Քոչարյանը, թե՛ Աբրահամյանը Արցախում են: Անգամ երկրից դուրս գտնվող Միհրան Պողոսյանը և Միքայել Հարությունյանը նամակով դիմել են քննչական մարմիններին՝ թույլ տալու իրենց վերադառնալ Հայաստան և մեկնել Արցախ:

Առանձնահատուկ պետք է ընդգծել Արցախի նախագահի ունակությունը՝  մի կողմ դնելու անձնական ամբիցիաները, միավորելու հայկական պետականության և հողի համար սրտացավ գործիչներին և ստեղծելու այդ միասնականության մթնոլորտը: Վերը նշվածը ազգային միասնության ամենավառ դրսևորումն ու օրինակն է, դա մի երևույթ է , որը այդքան հազվադեպ է հանդիպում Նոր Հայաստանում, որտեղ հաճախ, եթե ոչ մեծամասամբ, անձնական կամ նեղ խմբակային շահերը պետության շահից ավելի բարձր են դասվում:
