Հեռավար կարգով հոկտեմբերի 7-ին կայացել է Վերակառուցման և զարգացման եվրոպական բանկի (ՎԶԵԲ) Կառավարիչների խորհրդի լիագումար նիստը, որի ընթացքում որոշումներ են ընդունվել կառույցի 2021-2025 թթ. Ռազմավարական և կապիտալի շրջանակի վերաբերյալ և հաստատվել է Բանկի հաշվետվությունը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին փոխվարչապետ Տիգրան Ավինյանի գրասենյակից, լիագումար նիստում ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ, ՎԶԵԲ-ում Հայաստանի կառավարիչ Տիգրան Ավինյանն ընտրվել է Կառավարիչների խորհրդի փոխնախագահող 2020-2021 թթ. համար: Բանկին Հայաստանի անդամակցությունից ի վեր առաջին անգամ երկրի ներկայացուցիչն ընտրվում է Կառավարիչների խորհրդի փոխնախագահող: 2021 թվականին Երևանը հյուրընկալելու է ՎԶԵԲ տարեկան ժողովը:

ՎԶԵԲ տարեկան ժողովում Հայաստանը ներկայացրել և 2021-2025 թթ. Ռազմավարական և կապիտալի շրջանակի ու ՎԶԵԲ-ի հետ համագործակցության ուղղությունների վերաբերյալ ելույթով հանդես է եկել ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարի տեղակալ, ՎԶԵԲ-ում Հայաստանի փոխկառավարիչ Ավագ Ավանեսյանը: Նա ներկայացրել է նաև Արցախի նկատմամբ Թուրքիայի աջակցությամբ ու ահաբեկիչների ներգրավմամբ Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած հարձակման մանրամասները, անդրադարձել ագրեսիայի հետևանքով քաղաքացիական բնակավայրերի թիրախավորմանը: Նշվել է, որ Ադրբեջանի գործողություններն արդեն իսկ երկարատև և խորը վնաս են հասցրել տարածաշրջանի տնտեսական կայունությանը և կարող են հանգեցնել հումանիտար ճգնաժամի:
