ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության պատվերով վերականգնվում է ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական նկարիչ Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանի «Լոռեցի Սաքո» քանդակը: Այն վերականգնում է հեղինակի քանդակագործ որդին՝ Աշոտ Բաղդասարյանը: Քանդակը կտեղադրվի ՀՀ Լոռու մարզի Դսեղ գյուղում:

Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանը կերտել է դյուցազնական կերպարներ, ստեղծել է հերոսական, ռոմանտիկ, պաթոսով աչքի ընկնող դիմաքանդակներ, կոմպոզիցիաներ, հուշարձաններ, դեկորատիվ քանդակներ: Նա ունի նաև բազմաթիվ դեկորատիվ քանդակներ, որոնցից, հատկապես, նշելի է «Լոռեցի Սաքո» քանդակը, որը կերտված է Թումանյանի հայտնի պոեմից: Քանդակն ինքնին հիշեցնում է Թումանյանի խոսքերը. «Բըռնեցե՛ք, փախա՛վ Սաքոն խելագար»:

Դեռ 1969 թվականին Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանը քանդակել է «Լոռեցի Սաքոյի» փոքր քանդակը՝ նախատեսված Հովհաննես Թումանյանի 100-ամյա հոբելյանին նվիրված ցուցահանդեսին: Հետագայում նա կրկին անդրադարձել է այդ թեմային և 1987 թվականին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի պատվերով «Լոռեցի Սաքո» բրոնզաձույլ, դեկորատիվ քանդակը դրվել է Թումանյանի անվան այգում: Քանդակը բազմիցս փորձել են գողանալ:

Արձանում պատկերված է փախչող Սաքոն, ինչը քանդակագործը ներկայացրել է մեծ վարպետությամբ և փախչելու խելագար արագությամբ, իսկ նրան հետապնդողների կերպարները, նույնպես, շատ պատկերավոր են: Այն տեղադրված է պատվանդանի վրա, որը կարծես ժայռի մի հատված լինի: Արձանն ունի ձգված տեսք՝ կապված փախչող կերպարի հետ և ավելի քան 4 մետր երկարություն, իսկ բարձրությունը պատվանդանով՝ երկու մետրից ավել է:
