«Որոշ մարդիկ ծաղրում են, որ աշխարհի տարբեր անհայտ ու փոքր քաղաքներ պաշտպանում են Արցախի հայության ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, հայտարարություններ են անում Արցախի Հանրապետության ճանաչման ու Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի ռազմական ագրեսայի դեմ:

Նախ, տարրական մարդկային գնահատանք է պետք ցուցաբերել այն համայնքների ու մարդկանց հանդեպ, որոնք ոչ թե ռեալպոլիտիկի ու իրենց պետության շահերի անկյունից են դիտարկում հարցը, այլ ուղղակի գործում են սոլիդարության մակարդակում ու անում՝ ինչ կարող են: Ինչ կարող են՝ անում են: Մենք դիմում ենք, որ աշխարհը ճանաչի մեզ, աշխարհի ճանաչված, բայց փոքր համայնքներն արձագանքում են, իսկ չճանաչված համայնքի քաղաքացիները դժգոհ են մնում՝ իբր մեզ ինչ քո արածը, քարտեզի վրա քո տեղն էլ չգիտենք…

Ավստրիական Ռայդ քաղաքի խորհուրդը, որի մասին առաջին անգամ եմ լսում, 5000 ԱՄՆ դոլար է փոխանցել հիմնադրամին: Թող ՀՀ որևէ համայնքի ավագանին 1 դրամ փոխանցի կարիք ունեցող այլ երկրին: Սա ի՞նչ մեծամտություն է, որտեղի՞ց այս քամահրանքը մարդկանց ու համայնքների հանդեպ, որոնց համար մենք նույնչափ փոքր ենք, ոնց որ նրանք՝ մեզ համար: Գնահատում եմ նաև մեր հայրենակիցների ջանքը, որ այս օրերին եվրոպական տարբեր երկրների փողոցներում բողոքի ցույցեր են անում, որ մենք այդ քաղաքաներում լսելի լինենք:

Ու դա՛ էլ եմ ուզում խրախուսել՝ խոսելով այս ամենի մասին: Քիչ առաջ Ազգային ժողովում ընդունեցինք Ֆրանսիայի պատգամավորներին ու ամեն ինչ ասել ենք: Ասել ենք, որ որպես ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդի անդամ, որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի համանախագահող, որպես Եվրոպայի գերտերություն շա՛տ բան է կախված Ֆրանսիայից, բայց նաև շնորհակալություն ենք հայտնել, որ ֆրանսիական քաղաքների բնակիչներ արդեն լսել են մեր ձայնը: Ուրեմն, խնդրում եմ դադարե՛ք մաշել, պարալիզացնել կենդանի էներգիան, ապախրախուսել ու նսեմացնել ձեզ փոքր թվացող մարդկանց ջանքերը: Լուռ արեք ձեր անելիքը ու գոնե այս անգամ ոչինչ մի մեկնաբանեք իմ տարածքում: Ես անելու եմ ինչ հնարավոր է ու շնորհակալ եմ լինելու բոլորին, ով մեզ հետ է այսօր»,- նշել է նա:
