«Եղբայրներ, ցավոք, պետք է խոստովանեմ, որ ամեն ինչ չէ, որ մեր ուժերի սահմանում է: Մենք այստեղ էինք եկել՝ թողնելով մեր ընտանիքները, հարազատներին ու ընկերներին: Այնքան մարդ է զոհվել, այնքան շատ երիտասարդներ կան, որոնք դեռ շատ բան ունեին անելու այս կյանքում: Այժմ ունենք հազարավոր հաշմանդամ երեխաներ: Եւ այս ամենն արվեց մեր հայրենիքի համար, և ոչ ոք չի կարող ասել, որ դա անիմաստ էր: Բայց, ցավոք, մենք ամեն ինչ չենք որոշում: Մենք ինչ-որ խաղի, ինչ-որ ֆիլմի մեջ մտանք, որտեղ ռեժիսորները դիմակավոր մարդիկ էին: Մենք չնահանջեցինք: Նրանք ամեն ինչ որոշեցին մեր փոխարեն: Ես ոչ մի պահանջ չունեմ Արցախի իշխանություններից, Արայիկ Հարությունյանից, որոնք այստեղ էին և արեցին այն, ինչ կարող էին:
