Նոյեմբերի 17-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալ Գաբրիել Բալայանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի պատվիրակության (ԿԽՄԿ) ղեկավար տիկին Քլեր Մեյթրոյին, ինչպես նաև պատվիրակության ղեկավարի պարտականությունները մի քանի շաբաթ անց ստանձնող պարոն Թիերի Ռիբոյին: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ ՊՆ-ից:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Գ.Բալայանը նշել է, որ հայկական կողմը մեծ կարևորություն է տալիս ռուսական խաղաղապահ զորախմբի և Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիետի պատվիրակության ներգրավմամբ՝ ս.թ. սեպտեմբերի 27-ից ադրբեջանա-թուրքական ագրեսիայի արդյունքում արցախա-ադրբեջանական ռազմաճակատի ողջ երկայնքով ռազմական գործողությունների արդյունքում զոհված զինծառայողների մարմինների դուրս բերման, անհայտ կորած և վիրավորում ստացած անձանց որոնողական աշխատանքների, ռազմագերիների և այլ պահվող անձանց ճակատագրերի պարզաբանման, ինչպես նաև ռազմական գործողությունների արդյունքում տուժած քաղաքացիական բնակչությանը ԿԽՄԿ կողմից ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար:

Հայկական կողմը ԿԽՄԿ-ի պատվիրակությանը ներկայացրել է հատուկ մշակված քարտեզ` զոհված զինծառայողների աճյունների, ինչպես նաև անհայտ կորած անձանց գտնվելու վայրերի հստակ տեղանշումներով, որն ամենօրյա թարմացված ռեժիմով տրամադրվելու է ԿԽՄԿ պատվիրակությանը` որոնողական աշխատանքների առավել օպերատիվ իրականացման նպատակով:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում առանձնահատուկ ընդգծվել է արցախա-ադրբեջանական ռազմաճակատի հարավային և հարավ-արևելյան հատվածներում ՌԴ խաղաղապահ զորախմբի և ԿԽՄԿ ներկայացուցիչների ներգրավմամբ, մարտական գործողությունների անցկացման տարածքներում դեռևս անհայտ զինծառայողնե-րի ու քաղաքացիական անձանց որոնման, ինչպես նաև զոհված զինծառայողների մարմինների դուրսբերման և փոխանակման աշխատանքների մեկնարկի կարևորությունը:

Իր հերթին ԿԽՄԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի ղեկավարը հավաստիացրել է, որ ԿԽՄԿ-ն, որպես չեզոք և անկողմնակալ կազմակերպություն, կշարունակի իր միջնորդական մարդասիրական առաքելությունը վերը նշված գործընթացի իրականացման ուղղությամբ:

Հայկական կողմը ևս մեկ անգամ կոչ է արել Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեին՝ Բաքվում իր պատվիրակության միջոցով ու իր իրավազորությունների շրջանակներում, առավել համոզիչ կերպով բանակցել Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների հետ` զոհված զինծառայողների մարմինների դուրս բերման աշխատանքների իրականացման, անհայտ կորած անձանց ճակատագրերի պարզաբանման, ռազմագերիների և այլ պահվող անձանց վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվության տրամադրման և վերջիններիս կանոնավոր այցելությունների կազմակերպման ուղղությամբ:

Կարևորվել է նաև ՌԴ խաղաղապահ զորախմբի, Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի և հայկական կողմի համատեղ աշխատանքների ներդաշնակեցման ապահովումը:

Օգտվելով առիթից՝ Գ.Բալայանը ողջունել է շուրջ մեկ ամսից պատվիրակության ղեկավարի պարտականությունները ստանձնող պարոն Թիերի Ռիբոյին՝ մաղթելով հաջողություններ պատասխանատու գործում:
