«Այս պատերազմում պարտվեցինք բոլորս, սակայն հաղթեցին հայ զինվորն ու հայկական սփյուռքը»

Սփյուռքի գլխավոր հանձնակատարի գրասենյակը Ֆեյսբուքի էջում հայտարարություն է տարածել՝ նշելով, որ պատերազմի ընթացքում Սփյուռքի քաղաքական, լոբբիստական աշխատանքն ապարդյուն չի անցել, և այն այսօր էլ շարունակվում է: 

«Սփյուռքի սիրելի քույրեր և եղբայրներ, պատերազմի ողջ ընթացքում մենք ականատես եղանք համահայկական, համասփյուռ աննախադեպ համախմբման և մոբիլիզացիայի: Սփյուռքն իրապես դարձավ Հայաստանի և հայ ազգի միակ հենքն ու ապավենն աշխարհում: Ամենուր, որտեղ հայ է ապրում, պայքար գնաց հանուն հայրենիքի, հանուն Արցախի և հանուն հայ ժողովրդի:

Օգնությունը տարատեսակ էր. նյութական, ֆինանսական, կամավորական, բժշկական, հոգեբանական, ռազմական, քաղաքական և հաճախ նաև դիվանագիտական: Սփյուռքն ինչ-որ չափով նույնիսկ լրացրեց այն մեծ բացը, որը զուտ պետության տիրույթում էր: Մինչ օրս էլ չեն դադարում Հայաստան հասնել սփյուռքից ուղարկվող հումանիտար բեռները՝ նույնիսկ հայրենիքից ամենահեռու համայնքներից:

Ազնիվ նվիրման և հայրենասիրության ամենապայծառ օրինակներ էին այն կամավորները, ովքեր պատերազմի օրերին սփյուռքից մեկնեցին Արցախ: Նրանցից ոմանք զոհեցին կյանքը, այլոք ստացան վիրավորումներ, բայց չլքեցին իրենց դիրքերը: Թիկունքի սպիտակ բանակում՝ բժիշկների շարքերում, քիչ չէին սփյուռքահայ բժիշկները, բուժաշխատողները, որոնց մի մասն այսօր էլ շարունակում է մնալ մեր վիրավոր զինվորների կողքին:

Դժվար է հիշել Հայաստանում ձեռնարկված որևէ խոշոր կամավորական նախաձեռնություն, որտեղ ներգրավված չլինեին սփյուռքից ժամանած մեր հայրենակիցները: Կասկածից վեր է, որ սփյուռքի քաղաքական, լոբբիստական աշխատանքն ապարդյուն չի անցել, և այն այսօր էլ շարունակվում է:

Պատերազմի դաժան օրերին, երբ աշխարհը լքեց Հայաստանը Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ագրեսիայի դեմ, սփյուռքը մնաց Հայաստանի միակ պատուհանը դեպի արտաքին աշխարհ, միակ կապը մարդկության հետ, միակ հույսը և հավատի ակունքը:

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, դաժան է պարտությունը, և մեր բոլորիս վերքերը շատ խորն են: Բայց ձեր անուրանալի աջակցության, հայրենիքի կողքին ու թիկունքին լինելու անդրդվելիության, անմնացորդ պայքարի համար հայտնում ենք մեր անկեղծ երախտագիտությունը: Շնորհակալ ենք ձեր յուրաքանչյուր ջանքի համար, շնորհակալ ենք ձեր սիրո, հոգատարության, հայրենասիրության համար:

Այս պատերազմում պարտվեցինք բոլորս, սակայն հաղթեցին հայ զինվորն ու հայկական սփյուռքը: Պայքարը շարունակվում է, և մենք միասին ահռելի շատ անելիքներ ունենք: Գոտեպնդվենք, վեր հառնենք մոխիրներից, փառավորվենք մեր նահատակների սխրանքով և շարժվենք առաջ»:
