ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտնել է, որ ինքը հրամայել է Ընդհանուր ծառայությունների վարչակազմին (GSA) պատրաստվել արարողակարգով իշխանությունը Բայդենին փոխանցելու համար։
Ավելի վաղ CNN հեռուստաալիքը հաղորդել էր, որ GSA- ն ու նրա ղեկավար Էմիլի Մերֆին դեմոկրատ թեկնածուին ճանաչել են որպես ընտրություններում հաղթող և հայտարարել են իշխանության փոխանցումը սկսելու պատրաստակամության մասին:
