Սուրբ Աթոռում ՀՀ նախկին դեսպան Միքայել Մինասյանը իր «Ռեքվիեմ» տեսաշարի երկրորդ մասում պատմեց, թե որտեղ է եղել ՀՀ արդեն նախկին պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը՝ պատերազմի առաջին օրերին։

«Որպեսզի պատկերացնեք՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ինչ պայմաններում է ընտրությունն արել, պետք է հասկանաք, որ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին երկու ամենակարևոր մարդիկ, որոնք պատասխանատու են ՀՀ անվտանգության համար, Հայաստանի ոչ բարով-խերով գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ լեգիտիմ, ժողովրդի կողմից ընտրված, 140 տոկոսանոց ռեյտինգով, և Ռեմբոյի դեմքով Դավիթ Տոնոյանը, որը 2,5 տարի ասում էր նոր պատերազմ՝ նոր տարածքներ․․․ Դավիթ Տոնոյանը Պատրոն Դավիթի հետ գտնվում էր Բուլղարիայում, նշում էին Պատրոն Դավիթի ծնունդը, և մեկնել էին Վոլգոգրադից։ Դուք պատկերացնում եք, չէ՞․ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը հայտնվում է եթերում պատերազմի սկզբից 28, թե 36 ժամ հետո։ Առաջին ամենակարևոր օրը նա չկար։ Իսկ գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատարը, երբ Ադրբեջանը իր ամբողջ ռազմական ուժով հարձակվում է Արցախի Հանրապետության վրա, երբ հայ ժողովուրդը մտնում է իր կյանքի ամենակարևոր պատերազմներից մեկը և մենք արդեն գիտենք, որ ԳՇ պետը օգոստոսից պատրաստում է Փաշինյանին, որ լինելու է պատերազմ՝ Թուրքիայի մասնակցությամբ, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հանում է իր ամենակարևոր զենքը, զենք, որի դեմ չոքում է թշնամին՝ իր կողմից գրված բանաստեղծությունը։ Դուք հասկանում եք, չէ՞՝ մենք ում հետ գործ ունենք՝ մենք գործ ունենք գիժ դավաճանի, իսկ Դավիթ Տոնոյանի մասին նույնիսկ չգիտեմ՝ ինչ օգտագործեմ, վստահ եմ, որ քրեական գործում ինչ-որ ձևով կձևակերպվի»,-ասաց Միքայել Մինասյանը։
