2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 25-ից մինչև 2021 թվականի հունվարի 20-ը հսկողության ուժեղացված միջոցառումներ կիրականացվեն Սևանա լճում և Հայաստանի ողջ տարածքում:
 
Սիգի ձվադրման ժամանակահատվածում ձկների բնական վերարտադրությունն ապահովելու նպատակով արգելվել է որևէ լողամիջոցի մուտքը Սևանա լիճ և ուժեղացված հսկողություն է սահմանվել Հայաստանի ողջ տարածքում։
 
Իրականացվող գործողությունների շրջանակներում 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 22-ին շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարության, պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեի, Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետարանի, ոստիկանության և Բնապահպանության և ընդերքի տեսչական մարմնի միջև հաստատվել է Սևանա լճում սիգի ձվադրման ժամանակահատվածում (2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 25-ից մինչև 2021 թվականի հունվարի 20-ը ներառյալ) իրականացվող համատեղ միջոցառումների և փոխգործակցության ծրագիր։
 
2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 25-ից մինչև 2021 թվականի հունվարի 20-ը ներառյալ իրականացվելու է խիստ հսկողության Սևանը գոտևորող բոլոր անտառային ճանապարհներում, որտեղ տեղակայվել են հսկիչ կետեր։ Սահմանվելու է շուրջօրյա հերթափոխություն՝ մշտական կապ պահելով իրավապահ մարմինների հետ։ Արգելվելու է բոլոր տեսակի որսագործիքների և լողամիջոցների մուտքը Սևանա լիճ։
 
Միջոցառումների շրջանակներում կազմակերպվում են Սևանա լճի «Սիգ» ձկնատեսակի վաճառքի կանխարգելմանն ուղղված ստուգայցեր Երևանի և մարզերի շուկաներում։ Ստուգայցեր կիրականացվեն նաև Սևանա լճի վրա և «Սևան» ազգային պարկի այլ տարածքներում։
 
Շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Ռոմանոս Պետրոսյանն համապատասխան գրություններով դիմել է Տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանին և Երևանի քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանին՝ խնդրելով աջակցել մարզպետարանների և համայնքապետարանների, ինչպես նաև Երևան քաղաքի վարչական շրջանների միջոցով կազմակերպել համատեղ ստուգայցեր՝ սիգի փողոցային առևտուրը վերահսկելու նպատակով։
