Դեկտեմբերի 29-ին, կեսգիշերն անց, ոստիկանություն զանգած քաղաքացին հայտնում էր, որ Գյումրիի Կազաչի պոստ թաղամասի իրենց շենքի չբնակեցված բնակարանից ձայներ են լսվում։

Ոստիկանության Կումայրիի բաժնի օպերատիվ խմբի անհետաձգելի գործողությունների շնորհիվ նշված թաղամասում հայտնաբերվեցին և, գողություն կատարելու կասկածանքով, ոստիկանություն բերման ենթարկվեցին 23 և 27 տարեկան երկու տղամարդ։

Պարզվեց, որ նրանք իրենց բնակարանի պատշգամբով անցել են հարևան բնակարանի պատշգամբ, երկաթյա լինգով բացել են դուռն ու մտել բնակարան։
Բերման ենթարկվածները ձերբակալվել են։
