«168 ժամ» թերթը գրում է. «ԱԺ «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության ղեկավար Լիլիթ Մակունցի՝ ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան նշանակվելու մասին լուրը ցնցել է հանրային-քաղաքական դիսկուրսը, դարձել է քննարկման առարկա։ Քննարկում՝ որպես այդպիսին, չկա էլ, ամեն ինչ հանգում է մտքին, թե՝ «սա ինչ խայտառակություն է», «ինչպե՞ս կարելի է Նիկոլի անգլերենի դասատու՝ դիվանագիտական փորձ չունեցող Մակունցին նշանակել այդքան կարեւոր երկրում դեսպան», եւ այլն։

Իրականում Մակունցի նշանակման մեջ խայտառակ ու անսովոր ոչինչ չկա։ Դա ոչ թե խայտառակություն է, այլ խիստ օրինաչափ քայլ։ Եթե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարող է զբաղեցնել՝ վարչապետի, Արարատ Միրզոյանը՝ ԱԺ նախագահի, Հայկ Մարությանը՝ Երեւանի քաղաքապետի, Սարգսյան անունով կոկորդիլոսասերը՝ ինչ-որ մարզպետի պաշտոն, ու այդպես շարունակ․․․ ապա շատ օրինաչափ է, որ դիվանագիտության հետ որեւէ աղերս չունեցող Մակունցը զբաղեցնելու է ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանի պաշտոնը։ Մակունցին դեսպան նշանակելով՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հերթական քայլն է անում՝ արդարության հաստատման գործում։

Իսկ արդարությունն այն է, որ, եթե Հայաստանի ամենաբարձրաստիճան պաշտոնները կարող են զբաղեցվել հակահայկական ու հակապետական էլեմենտների կողմից, ապա նույն սկզբունքը պետք է կիրառվի բոլոր ուղղություններում ու բոլոր մակարդակներով։ Այսինքն՝ նշաձողը պետք է իջեցվի մինչեւ  հնարավոր նվազագույնը՝ առանց բացառության բոլոր ոլորտներում։ Որովհետեւ ազնիվ չէ, եթե վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, իսկ, օրինակ, ԱՄՆ-ում դեսպան է աշխատում որեւէ փորձառու դիվանագետ։

Բոլորի նշաձողը պետք է հասցվի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի նշաձողին, այսինքն՝ մարդկային ու քաղաքական անկման ամենացածր կետին։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի յուրաքանչյուր քայլից հետո թվում է, թե դա է անկման ստորին կետը, բայց ոչ, ամեն հաջորդ գործողությամբ նա ցույց է տալիս, որ դեռ կա դեգրադացիայի նոր, ավելի խորը աստիճան։ Իսկ դեգրադացիան, բարոյազրկումն իրենց էությամբ անսահմանություն ենթադրող վիճակներ են, հետեւաբար՝ մենք առաջիկայում դեռ ականատես ենք լինելու նորանոր անկումների։

Դրանց պայմանական վերջնակետը կարող է լինել պետության ամբողջական կազմաքանդումը, որին իր ամեն մի նոր գործողությամբ ավելի է մոտենում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Մակունցի նշանակումն այդ ճանապարհի կարեւոր, բայց փոքր քայլ է։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը խաղում է գրեթե բաց խաղաքարտերով ու այլեւս չի էլ թաքցնում, որ ունի մեկ վերջնական առաքելություն՝ հայկական պետականության կազմաքանդումն ու կործանումը։ Նա առայժմ հաջողություններ է արձանագրում իր այդ առաքելության իրականացման ճանապարհին։ Այդ հաջողությունների թվում են նաեւ հենց այսպիսի իրողությունները, երբ հասարակության քիչ թե շատ ակտիվ զանգվածին հնարավոր է դառնում շեղել Մակունցի նշանակման նման փոքր իրադարձություններով։

Այդպիսով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարողանում է նաեւ հաջողությամբ կառավարել տեղեկատվական հոսքերը։ Մակունցի նշանակման մասին լուրը բավական էր Արարատ Միրզոյանի անձի շուրջ ծավալված գործակալական սկանդալը մոռացության մատնելու կամ հետին պլան մղելու համար։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այլեւս իրեն ամուր է զգում այնքան ու այնպես, որ կարողանում է քաղաքական օրակարգ ձեւավորել ու թելադրել։ Խնդիրը հենց դա է, եւ ոչ թե ուսապարկերից ոչ թե՝ շարքայինին, այլ՝ հատկապես ոսկեզօծ շղթաներովին դեսպան նշանակելու հարցը»:
