«Իրազեկ քաղաքացիների միավորում» ՀԿ հիմնադիր, ծրագրերի համակարգող Դանիել Իոաննիսյանը գրել է. «Երևի երբեք չեմ մոռանա այն հարյուրավոր զինվորներին, որոնք հոկտեմբերի 10-ին փախնում էին Հադրութից: Մեծ մասամբ մոբ էին: Տասնապատիկ ավելի շատ էին, քան այդ օրը Հադրութ մտած ադրբեջանական զորքը, բայց որոշ հրամանատարների արագ փախնելը սարսափելի խուճապ էր առաջացրել:
Մենք սկզբից չէինք հասկանում, թե իրենք ինչու են Հադրութից գնում դեպի Կարմիր Շուկա, իրենք չէին հասկանում, թե մենք ինչու ենք գնում դեպի Հադրութ: Զարմացած իրար էինք նայում:
Հետո տեսանք, թե ինչպես էր այրվող Հադրութի ֆոնին Հարությունյան Արայիկը փախնողների մի մասի հրամանատարներին խնդրում, աղաչում, որ չգնան... բայց ապարդյուն: Հիմա հասկանում եմ, որ այդ պահից ի վեր պարտությունն անայլընտրանք էր:
Բայց պատերազմում կային զինվորականներ ու կամավորներ, որոնք փախչել չգիտեին, որոնք ատամները սեղմած կռվում էին ու որոշ տեղեր նույնիսկ կարողանում էին առաջ գնալ... Ընդ որում, դա, առաջին հերթին, գալիս էր հրամկազմից:
Մեր ապագա բանակի առանցքը հենց այդ մարդիկ են կազմելու՝ սպաներ ու գեներալներ, որոնք պաշտոնի ու կոչման համար ոչ թե փող են տվել, այլ կոմպիտենտություն ու դուխ են դրսևորել:
Շնորհավոր, պարոնայք ու, իմիջիայլոց, ոչ պակաս դուխով կռված տիկնայք: Դուք ստեղծելու եք այն բանակը, որը կկարողանա արժանապատիվ պաշտպանություն ապահովել մեր պետականությանն ու հանրությանը»:
