«Ազգային Ժողովը լսումներ է հրավիրել «Գիտությունը՝ որպես անվտանգության և զարգացման հենասյուն» թեմայով: Առնվազն զավեշտալի է, որ քաղաքական դեբիլիզմով, դիվանագիտական տգիտությամբ և կառավարչական դիլետանտիզմով փայլող իշխանակույտը՝ պետականությունը քանդելուց ու անվտանգության բոլոր գոտիները թշնամուն հանձնելուց հետո, հիշել է անվտանգության մասին:
Լսում ես ամբիոնից հնչող մելամաղձոտ ու դատարկ ելույթներն, ու մեկ անգամ ևս համոզվում, որ սրանց ամեն ինչը ձևականություն է և թոզփչոցի:
Պետության անվտանգությունը նախ և առաջ քաղաքական մտքի արգասիք է, որն այսօր իսպառ բացակայում է: Բացակայում է, որովհետև այսօրվա “մայր մեղուն” քաղաքական պոպուլիզմն է:
Բազմիցս ասել եմ, ևս մեկ անգամ կրկնում եմ: Անվտանգության և արագ զարգացման տեսանկյունից պետք է հետևենք Իսրայելի Պետության օրինակին: Միակ երկիրը, որի պարամետրերը գրեթե համահունչ են մեր Ազգի և պետության պարամետրերին: Դրա առաջին քայլը՝ երկրի խորհրդարանը և կառավարությունը դիլետանտներից ու նիկոլիզմից մաքրելն է:
Եթե ուզում ենք ունենալ անվտանգ և զարգացող պետություն, ապա յուրաքանչյուր մարդ պետք է զբաղվի իր գործով: Նայեք վարչապետին, պատգամավորների մեծամասնությանը, կառավարության տկարությանը և հետևություններ արեք: Ու չմոռանաք, որ նրանց օրոք, ու նրանց պատճառով Արցախը հանձնվեց, Սյունիքի ճանապարհների մի շարք հատվածներ թուրքերն են վերահսկում, իսկ զոհերի, անհետ կորածների, գերիների ու վիրավորների մասին՝ պատերազմից երեք ամիս անց, պատկերացումներ անգամ չունեն:
Կրկնվող լոզունգներով, պոպուլիստական անմիտ ելույթներով, առանց հստակ պատկերացումների ու առաջարկների խորհրդարանական լսումները՝ այն առավելագույնն է, որ սպասելի էր սրանցից»:
