Նախօրեին զենքի մատակարարումների գործով ձերբակալված Դավիթ Գալստյանը (Պատրոն Դավո) հայտարարություն է տարածել:

Ստորեւ ներկայացնում ենք այն.

«Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,

ՀՀ ԱԱԾ-ի կողմից երեկ հրապարակած տեսահաղորդագրությամբ քրեական գործով ինձ մեղսագրվում է ծանր հանցագործություն։

Հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ քրեական գործով առկա տեղեկությունները պարունակում են ոչ միայն նախաքննական, այլև պետական գաղտնիքներ, այս պահին ձեռնպահ ենք մնում հրապարակային ներկայացնել քրեական գործին վերաբերող մի շարք հանգամանքներ, որոնց լուսաբանումը կբացահայտեր քրեական գործ հարուցելու և ինձ մեղադրանք ներկայացնելու իրական շարժառիթները։

Այնուամենայնիվ, դուրս չգալով նախաքննության մարմնի հայտարարությամբ բացահայտված տեղեկատվության շրջանակներից, ի շարս դրանում բերվող մեղադրանքների, սույն հայտարարությամբ կանդրադառնանք դրանից էական համարվող առնվազն մեկ հանգամանքի, որը կարծում եմ իրականացվել է այն նպատակով, որ հանրության շրջանում առաջացնի ավելի մեծ մտահոգություն և ապահովի հուզական հոգեվիճակ։  

Ըստ հաղորդագրության, մեր ընկերության կողմից ՀՀ ՊՆ-ին մատակարարված ապրանքը ի հակառակ պայմանագրով նախատեսված պայմանների եղել է 1977 թվականի արտադրության։ Գտնում ենք, որ նմանատիպ պնդումը կարող է ունենալ երկու պատճառ։ Կամ նախաքննական մարմինը չի ցուցաբերել բավարար պրոֆեսիոնալիզմ և գործում առկա տվյալների վերլուծությամբ չի տվել ճիշտ գնահատական /իրականում 1977 թվականը հանդիսանում է տվյալ տեսակի զինամթերքի սերիական արտադրության սկզբնաժամկետը, այլ ոչ թե մատակարված ապրանքի արտադրության ժամկետը/ կամ փորձ է արվել իրականությունն ակնհայտ խեղաթյուրելու միջոցով ստեղծել պատրանք, որ զինված ուժերին խարդախության միջոցով մատակարարվել է 70-ական թվականների արտադրության զինամթերք։ Հայտնում ենք, որ իրականում մատակարարվել է պայմանագրով նախատեսված տեսականուն և տարեթվերին արտադրված զինամթերք, ինչի վերաբերյալ հետագայում մեր կողմից կբացահայտվեն դրանք հիմնավորող ապացույցները և մյուս բոլոր փաստական տվյալները։

Ինչպես նշեցինք նախաքննության այս փուլում զերծ կմնանք քրեական գործի անհիմն լինելու վերաբերյալ այլ մանրամասները հրապարակային ներկայացնելուց և դրանց կանդրադառնանք՝ ինձ կալանավորելու վերաբերյալ ներկայացված միջնորդությունը դատարանի կողմից քննելուց հետո»։
