Փետրվարի 5-ին Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հանդիպում ունեցավ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և մի շարք այլ բնագավառներում հաջողություններ արձանագրած, մրցանակակիր և հայրենի կյանքում զգալի ներդրում ունեցած երիտասարդների հետ։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից: Ս․ Սարգսի տոնի առիթով ավանդաբար կազմակերպվող այս հանդիպումը նախաձեռնվել էր Հայ Եկեղեցու Համաշխարհային երիտասարդական միավորման (ՀԵՀԵՄ) կենտրոնական գրասենյակի կողմից։

Հանդիպմանը ՀԵՀԵՄ հոգևոր տեսուչ և կենտրոնական գրասենյակի տնօրեն Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Թովմա վարդապետ Խաչատրյանը Նորին Սրբությանը ներկայացրեց մասնակից երիտասարդներին՝ մասնավորապես կարևորելով կապը Եկեղեցու և երիտասարդության միջև:

Այնուհետև հայորդիներին իր հայրական օրհնությունը բերեց Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը՝ բարձրորեն գնահատելով ջանադիր և հետևողական աշխատանքով կերտված այն հաղթանակներն ու հաջողությունները, որ երիտասարդներն արձանագրել են իրենց անձնական կյանքում, տարբեր ոլորտներում և միջազգային հարթակներում՝ բարձր պահելով հայ ժողովրդի պատիվն ու բարի համբավը։ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը հաստատեց, որ հաջողությունները քրտնաջան աշխատանքի և բարձր գիտակցության արդյունք են՝ վստահություն հայտնելով, որ նման ոգով առաջնորդվող երիտասարդները կարող են կերտել լուսավոր ապագա և հայրենի երկրի համար ապահովել առաջընթաց ու բարգավաճում։

Այս առիթով Նորին Սրբությունը իր գնահատանքը բերեց ՀԵՀԵՄ-ի կենտրոնական գրասենյակին՝ շնորհալի երիտասարդներին համախմբելու, միմյանց ծանոթացնելու և Հայ Եկեղեցու առաքելությանը հաղորդ դարձնելու համար։

Վեհափառ Հայրապետը նաև պատասխանեց երիտասարդների տարբեր հարցերին։ Անդրադարձ կատարելով հետպատերազմյան հետևանքների հաղթահարմանը և երկրում տեղ գտնող զարգացումներին՝ հայրենիքը ստեղծված ցավալի ու ծանր իրավիճակից դուրս բերելու և առկա մարտահրավերներն ու դժվարությունները հաղթահարելու գործում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը կարևոր նկատեց, որ հայորդիները դրսևորեն հայ ժողովրդին բնորոշ արիություն՝  խոհեմությամբ և իմաստությամբ ի գործ դնելով բոլոր ճիգերը։ Նորին Սրբությունը ընդգծեց, որ այսօր ազգի անխտիր յուրաքանչյուր զավակի ջանքն ու ներդրումն է ակնկալվում՝ դուրս բերելու հայրենիքը այս ծանր փորձությունից։

Խոսվեց նաև ազգային կյանքը հուզող զանազան խնդիրների, ինչպես նաև Եկեղեցու առաքելության իրականացման գործում տեղեկատվական միջոցների առավել արդյունավետ գործածման կարևորության մասին։

Հանդիպմանը Կոմիտասի «Հորովել»-ի կատարումով երիտասարդները մխիթարություն պարգևեցին Հայոց Հովվապետին։

Վերջում Նորին Սրբությունը աղոթք բարձրացրեց Հայաստանի, Արցախի և հայ ժողովրդի խաղաղ ու ապահով կյանքի համար՝ հորդորելով երիտասարդներին իրենց աշխատասիրությամբ ու գիտելիքներով նորանոր հաջողություններ արձանագրել՝ ի փառս և ի բարօրություն հայ ժողովրդի և հայրենի երկրի։
