Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում փետրվարի 28-ին  Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հանդիպում է ունեցել Երևանի պետական համալսարանի տարբեր ֆակուլտետների ուսանողների հետ։ Այս մասին հայտնեցին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից: 
 
Ուսանողները Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին էին եկել համալսարանի դեկանի տեղակալ, պ․գ․թ․, դոցենտ Միքայել Մալխասյանի առաջնորդությամբ։
 
Նախ տիար Մալխասյանը, որդիական խոնարհությամբ ողջունելով Նորին Սրբությանը, տեղեկացրել է, որ ներկաները Երևանի պետական համալսարանի «Համալսարանը զոհվածների ընտանիքների կողքին» նախաձեռնության անդամներն են։ Խոսքով հանդես է եկել նաև նախաձեռնության համահեղինակ տիար Էդուարդ Գալստյանը։ Վերջինս նշել է, որ նախաձեռնությունը միտված է նեցուկ և զորավիգ լինել պատերազմի հետևանքով իրենց զավակներին ու հարազատներին կորցրած ընտանիքներին։ Նա հույս է հայտնել, որ Եկեղեցին իր առաքելությանը հավատարիմ իր անփոխարինելի ներդրումն է բերում այս ուղղությամբ։
 
Ապա Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը ողջունել է երիտասարդ ուսանողների նախաձեռնությունը՝ բերելով իր հայրապետական գնահատանքն ու օրհնությունը։ Հայոց Հովվապետը բնական և կարևոր է համարել ներկաների նախաձեռնությունը՝ ընդգծելով, որ յուրաքանչյուրի պարտքն ու պարտականությունն է այս դժվարին պահին զորակցել այդ ընտանիքներին։
 
Խոսելով արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմի կորուսնտերի մասին՝ Նորին Սրբությունը նշել է, որ մեր նահատակների հիշատակը պետք է մեզ համար ոգեշնչման աղբյուր լինի՝ ապրելու, արարելու և գալիքի նկատմամբ նոր հույսով լցվելու համար։ Վեհափառ Հայրապետն անդրադարձել է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի «Աջակցենք Արցախին» ծրագրին և նպատակներին, ինչպես նաև ծրագրի իրագործմանն ի նպաստ աշխարհասփյուռ թեմերի և բարերար հայորդիների կողմից ցուցաբերվող աջակցությանը։ Պատերազմի ընթացքում և հետպատերազմյա օրերին Եկեղեցու գործունեությանն անդրադառնալով՝ Նորին Սրբությունը տեղեկացրել է, որ կատարվել են ինչպես հոգեխնամական, այնպես էլ սոցիալական աջակցության ծրագրեր, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածինը իր հնարավորությունների սահմաններում փորձել է լուծել նաև տեղահանված արցախցի ընտանիքների կեցության հարցը։
 
Հայոց Հայրապետը երիտասարդների հետ խոսել է  նաև վիրավորների, զոհվածների, գերության մեջ հայտնվածների և անհայտ կորածների ընտանիքներին հոգևոր խնամքի կարևորության մասին։ Այս կապակցությամբ իրազեկվել է, որ, նկատի ունենալով խնդրի նրբությունը, հոգևորականների համար կազմակերպվել են վերապատրաստման հատուկ դասընթացներ՝ համապատասխան մասնագետների ներգրավմամբ։
 
Նորին Սրբությունը տեղեկացրել է, որ ապագայում նախատեսվում է Մայր Աթոռին և վանքերին կից ստեղծել վերականգնողական կենտրոններ։
Վերջում հանդիպման մասնակիցներն իրենց հուզող հարցերն են ուղղել Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսին։
